EU Projects Pavilion
We are happy to announce that this year we will have a whole pavilion dedicated to EU projects. The hydrogen ecosystem moved forward also thanks to these EU-funded activities that are contributing to the development and progress of the European Union as a whole. EU projects are instrumental to promote innovation, support regional development, tackle global challenges, and enhance European integration. Overall, EU projects are important because they support the achievement of shared goals and priorities across the European Union and can help to create a more prosperous and sustainable future for all.

Organised by: HEAVEN
Project description: Between January 2019 and September 2023, HEAVEN consortium had strongly worked and cooperated to successfully complete the world’s first piloted flight of liquid hydrogen powered electric aircraft. Find out more at https://heaven-fch-project.eu/
Session description: The final project results from HEAVEN will be presented during the EU Hydrogen Week 2023 from 20th to 24th of November 2023.The project will have an assigned stand at the EU project Pavilion. Visitors will have the opportunity to get information on the project results and talk to experts from the HEAVEN consortium. As part of the event a project presentation will be held d on Wednesday, 22nd of November 2023, some of the topics will be:
- Hydrogen Fuel System Development
- System coupling and integration
- Ground and flight campaign

MultHyFuel
(Safety and Permitting for Hydrogen at Multifuel Stations)
Organised by: MultHyFuel
Project description: Not sure where to look? MultHyFuel project is aiming to contribute to the effective deployment of hydrogen as an alternative fuel by developing a common strategy for implementing HRS in a multi-fuel context (i.e., within existing stations). One of its goals is to examine and harmonize existing laws and standards, based on practical, theoretical, and experimental data. Alongside continuous engagement with key stakeholders, MultHyFuel plans to develop specific guidelines that will assist HRS operators and public authorities in faster implementation of HRS. Join us at the event, as your inputs will be highly valuable and appreciated! Find out more at https://multhyfuel.eu
Session description: Within this webinar, we will introduce our results – including:
- Analysis of permitting rules for the implementation of HRS in selected EU countries
- Experimentation results: Leakage, clouds and ignition
- Experimentation results: Fire and explosion
- Analysis of risk assessments and how it contributes to guideline development
During the event, we will engage into a fruitful discussion with HRS operators, manufacturers and public authorities, gathering and unifying experiences and knowledge that will increase the quality of the main output - the guideline for multi-fuel stations and recommendations for informing future standards!
