Call for B2B Forum Speakers

We are excited to invite European Hydrogen Week 2026 exhibitors, sponsors, and media partners to submit proposals for speaking opportunities at the B2B Forum, scheduled to take place between Tuesday, 27 October to Wednesday, 28 October at Brussels Expo in Brussels, Belgium.

About B2B Forum

Set in the centre of the expo area, the B2B Forum will be open to all the visitors of the expo. By attending, participants will be able to find new source of inspiration, discover new knowledge and experience peer to peer exchanges. This conference stream will go beyond the regulatory framework, addressing different challenges and opportunities of the hydrogen sector.

Tuesday, 27 October

  • 10:00-11:00 - SESSION 1  | Ports as hydrogen gateways – Infrastructure and bunkering strategy
  • 12:00- 13:00 - SESSION 2 | How is REDIII driving hydrogen demand in Europe? 
  • 14:00- 15:00 - SESSION 3 | From startup to scale: SMEs as engines of the hydrogen transformation
  • 15:30- 16:30 - SESSION 4 | The ‘must haves’: non-negotiable policies and funding schemes to unlock industrial demand
  • 16:30- 17:30 - SESSION 5 | Hydrogen - backup power for Europe's digital infrastructure

 Wednesday, 28 October

  • 10:00-11:00 - SESSION 6 | Hydrogen mobility at a crossroads: maintaining Europe’s technological edge
  • 14:00- 15:00 - SESSION 8 | Forget the colours: who is actually using hydrogen today?
  • 15:30-16:30 - SESSION 9 | Industrial Accelerator Act in practice: Can Europe lead the hydrogen value chain?

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Eligibility: only current exhibitors, sponsors or media partners of European Hydrogen Week 2026 are eligible to apply.
  1. Duration: participation at a panel discussion.
  1. Content proposal: please select top 3 sessions you wish to speak in (you can select only 1 as well) and include a title, a brief description of your expertise and contribution to the topic (200 words), and the key takeaways for the audience.
    DISCLAIMER: No commercial speeches or slides will be accepted.
  1. Speaker information: please provide a bio (200 words) for each proposed speaker, highlighting relevant experience and expertise as well as headshot photo. Please note that in case speaker is selected, the bio and photo provided will be used on the event website and other communication channels. 
  1. Selection process: the number of speakers per session and the setup of the sessions will be determined once the final speaker line-up selection is made. Our content team will review all submissions based on the relevance and quality of the content, the expertise of the speakers, and the overall balance of the programme.
  1. Submission deadline: please submit your proposal by Friday, 4 September 2026, at 23:59 CEST.  
  1. Selection results: the selection results for speakers will be announced by 18 September 2026, at the latest. Successful applicants will be notified via email with further details regarding their participation and session arrangements. 

How to Submit:

There are two options for submitting your application:

  1. You are an exhibitor or sponsor with access to the Exhibitor Portal: Please visit the Exhibitor Portal (available only for exhibitors) where you will find the official application form.
  1. You are an exhibitor, sponsor or event partner without access to the Exhibitor Portal: Please email logistics@euhydrogenweek.eu with the subject line "Speaker Proposal for B2B Forum." The EU H2 Week Team will provide you with access to the application form.

Please note: do not include any content or speaker details in the email as they will not be screened. Only officially submitted applications will be accepted.

B2B FORUM CALL FOR SPEAKER - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1Who can apply?
Only event exhibitors, sponsors and media partners can apply to speak at the B2B Forum.
2I don’t know if my organisation is an exhibitor, sponsor or media partner, where can I check?
Please note that on the event dedicated website there are lists with all the 2026:
- Exhibitors,
- Sponsors, and
- Media partners
3When will I find out if my proposal has been accepted?
The selection results for speakers will be announced by 18 September 2026 at the latest. Successful applicants will be notified via email with further details regarding their participation and session arrangements.
4Can I still submit a proposal after the Call for Speakers has closed?
Please contact us at info@europeanhydrogenweek.eu to see if we are still able to include your proposal in the current conference review process.
5Can I have multiple colleagues speak with me?
If you are selected to have an individual presentation, you can indeed invite college(s) to present with you in the time frame allocated to you – provided that the slot allows for more than one speaker. Please note that college(s) should be from the same organisation and/or part of another organisation that exhibit/ sponsor the event.
6Do I have to pay a registration fee?
Please kindly note that the European Hydrogen Week is free of charge for all visitors. However, only current exhibitors, sponsors or media partners of the European Hydrogen Week 2026 are eligible to apply for a speaking opportunity at the B2B Forum. 7Can I submit multiple proposals to be a speaker?
Yes! Speakers may submit up to three (3) abstracts per conference.
8What is the submission deadline?
Please submit your proposal by Friday, 4 September 2026, at midnight CET.
