JOIN THE GO-TO EVENT FOR ALL THINGS HYDROGEN!
Hydrogen is a key player in the fight to curb climate change, due to its multiple end-uses and scope within the energy system, as recognised already by the EU Hydrogen Strategy and by the EU Green Deal. With the latest political developments, namely the decreasing affordability of energy, availability of raw materials and the need to boost the sustainable competitiveness of the European industry, it has acquired an even more central role, presenting itself simultaneously as an ally of decarbonisation, growth, and autonomy for Europe. The current European mandate will issue critical legislation that can further support the hydrogen economy – despite the challenges ahead, this is a massive opportunity to develop a strong European hydrogen supply chain, break free of fossil fuels, and deliver the ambitious climate goals required to keep the planet’s temperature increase under 1.5 °C.
Nowadays, many countries around the world have developed their own national hydrogen strategies, paving the way for a truly global hydrogen economy. In parallel, the private sector is forming partnerships and collaborations to advance the development and deployment of hydrogen technologies, especially in the field of low carbon hydrogen production.
At the EU Hydrogen Week, the sector comes together to discuss all the latest developments happening at national, European, and global level directly with the hydrogen experts directly involved in them. Join us to get inspired and discover the newest trends in the sector!
